ADAM HOOPER has over 30 years’ experience in illustrated book publishing, encompassing concept generation, commissioning, editorial development and the delivery of high-quality, illustrated titles from manuscript to finished copy. She was Editorial Director at art and design publisher Laurence King Publishing Ltd for ten years, running the Trade and Professional lists and commissioning numerous successful books in the areas of design, art, photography and popular culture.
Alongside her role at Hoop Editions, she works as a publishing consultant, scout and freelance commissioner, collaborating with global publishers including DK Ltd (part of Penguin Random House UK) and Quarto.
She has worked with a wide range of organizations and brands including Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design, the National Poetry Library, the BBC, Viacom International, charities such as Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, museums, and leading architecture and design companies.
